Two-day Samajik Chet Abhiyan receives good response

Gossaigaon, Jan 12: The 31st Bn. SSB organized a two-day Samajik Chet Abhiyan at Dumbazar LP School recently, which was iugurated by Bibekada Chaudhary, Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner, in presence of Balraj Singh, Commandant, 31st BN. SSB Gossaigaon, Ankita Bora, Munidra th Deuri, SDPO Gossaigaon, and many other dignitaries along with the students and teachers of the locality. Various cultural programmes were presented by the students of the LP school while artistes of Songs and Drama Division under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting made the programme spectacular with their outstanding performance. A volleyball tourment was also organized apart from distribution of sports item and statiory items, water filter and other items.  Around 500 villagers and animals were also treated by the doctors and distributed medicines under MCA/VCA programmes. Goutham Bhagwati, scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, also delivered an educatiol lecture for farmers on organic farming.
