Two-day student- teacher exchange programme held

MARGHERITA, June 21: The Department of Economics, Margherita College organized a two-day student-teacher exchange programme recently. The students of TDC third and fifth semester (Major in Economics) came from all the seven colleges under Tinsukia district along the teachers. The programme was iugurated by Dr Dip Gogoi, Principal of Digboi College. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Budhin Gogoi, Principal of Margherita College. Dr Gautam Purakayastha, Dr M Deb, S Dutta, Anju Konwar and B P Chetry also spoke on different topics. Students pesented papers on Union Budget 2016-17, NITI Aayog and new GDP calculation.  Students of Digboi College and Doomdooma College performed two drama on mega dam and misuse of mobile phone.
