Two day tiol semir from May 22

Silchar, May 14: A two day tiol semir which has been jointly organized by the Department of Bengali, Gurucharan College, Silchar and Nehru College, Pailapool, will be conducted on May 22 and May 23 at Gurucharan College. The Manjuri Commission of Assam will sponsor the semir. The semir is expected to be graced by the presence of Harsha Dutta, editor of Desh and an acclaimed historian, Dilip Chandra th, Vice-Chancellor, Assam University, Dr Tapodhir Bhattacharjee, poet, litterateur  and former Vice-Chancellor of Assam University, Biplab Kumar Bhattacharjee, former head, department of Bengali, Baladhan College and Usharanjan Bhattacharjee, former faculty member of Gauhati University.
