Two dead, four Army personnel injured in mishap

GAON (HAIBORGAON), April 18: In a tragic road mishap on Tuesday morning on NH 37 road near Darigazi in Kaliabor, two persons were killed on the spot and four Army personnel sustained severe injuries. According to sources, the accident took place when a truck (AS06AC-6941) hit an Army vehicle on NH 37 road at Darigazi near Kaliabor. The deceased have been identified as Muttu Sang Khamma Kumar of Tamil du and Bhula Yadav. Both the deceased were the drivers of the army vehicle and the truck respectively. On the other hand, in the same road accident four army personnel sustained severe injuries and all of them were later sent to Tezpur Army Base Hospital for better treatment. The sources added that the army vehicle was on its way to Tezpur from Misa Army camp and the truck was coming from the opposite direction.
