Two dead in road mishap

Joysagar, Feb 21: Two persons died in a road mishap in Mathurapur Majgaon area on Tuesday night. Abhijit Mahanti (27) and his friend Utpal Duwara (28) were coming back from a marriage party in Abhijit’s Maruti car with registration number AS-04-K-9059 when they met with an accident and both died on the spot. Mathurapur Police recovered their bodies early on Wednesday morning and sent them for post mortem to Sori Civil Hospital. Besides, in another road mishap which took place a week ago in the same area, an HSLC examinee who was on his way home from the exam centre on a bike, died. He was identified as Debendra Mishra (16) of Sori town.
