GAON, April 16: Two persons died and three others were seriously injured in a road accident near Samaguri Rangagara on 37 NH Road on Thursday around 5.30 am. The accident took place when an Indigo car (AS02N 3112) collided with a 709 bus (AS01AC 5775).
Pankaj Goswami (45) of Haibargaon Dhing road was spot dead and Gupal Mour (45) of Haibargaon died later in the hospital, The injured three have been identified as Ranjit Pal, yan Jyoti Saikia and Sandip Parek of gaon town. Parek is a ghazal singer. All the injured persons were admitted to SBP Civil Hospital soon after the accident and are under treatment.
