Two die in accident in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, October 12: Two persons died on the spot at NH-31 (C), Ramfalbil under Serfanguri PS in Kokrajhar district on Sunday evening when the bike in which they were travelling hit a heavy truck at the diversion.

The persons who died on the spot were identified as Bandev Basumatary alias Kwdwm (40) and Harkeswar Ray (35), both from Ramfalbil. Sources said they were travelling in a bike and hit the 18-wheel heavy truck in the front at a diversion. Both of them were run over by the truck while the bike got stuck in the front wheel. The truck caught fire while the bike went up in flames.
