Two dreaded dacoits bbed

Tamulpur, August 4: Two dreaded dacoits were bbed in a joint operation conducted by Tamulpur police and 14 Dogra Regiment of Indian Army, Tamulpur camp on Thursday from Dwarkuchi area.

Based on secret information a police team led by Sub Inspector of Tamulpur Police Staion, Upen Chandra Barman and the Army personnel conducted an operation in Dwarkuchi area under Tamulpur police station in the district of Baksa and bbed the dacoits. They were identified as Sabirul Islam (28), son of Hakim Ali of village Khandikar under Tamulpur Police Station and Saijuddin Ali (30), son of Abul Ali of villae Dhulabari under Tamulpur Police Station in the district of Baksa.

One 7.65 pistol, three live ammunition, one mobile handset, one Suzuki motorcycle without number plate and many others documents were recovered from their possession. Police said that both are dreaded dacoits and were involved in many cases of loot and anti-social activities. A case has been registered against them at Tamulpur Police station and interrogation is going on for more information.
