Two drug peddlers arrested

MANGALDAI, Jan 30: The Darrang Police based on specific input, launched a successful operation in the char areas under Sipajhar Police Station area on Monday evening and arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroine from their possession. The arrested drug peddlers are Wahid Islam (18), son of Azahar Ali of village No.3 Dhalpur and Siddik Siddique (25), son of Tarap Ali of village Kirakara under Sipajhar Police Station. Two stolen laptops and five stolen mobile handsets have also been seized from their possession. Both the accused drugs peddlers have been booked under the sections of rcotic and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act.
