Two drug peddlers arrested in North Lakhimpur town by Khelmati Police

LAKHIMPUR: A team of police from Khelmati Police Outpost under North Lakhimpur town arrested two drugs peddlers on Monday. They have been identified as Azizur Rahman (22), son of Mofir Uddin of Naoboicha and Moqbul Hussain, son of Md. Abdul Rahim, Borsola under Laluk Police Station. Police nabbed the former at Pub Chandmari, Ward No. 14 of North Lakhimpur town and then the latter was caught red-handed as per his confession. Around 76 grams of heroin were seized from the drug peddlers. They were taken to Khelmati Police outpost for further enquiry.
