Two drug smugglers held

SHILLONG, June 8: The sleuths of Anti rcotic Task Force (ANTF) today arrested two drug smugglers in Shillong. Acting on a tip off about peddling of drugs at Nongshilliang area, the ANTF sleuths launched an operation and apprehended a drug peddler, identified as Rechel Ralte, (32) at Nongrim Hills here. Some heroine like substances were found from her. Immediately, she led the police to the house of the supplier John Baglary (33) at Nongshilliang Block-II, Nongthymmai in Shillong and during search suspected drugs were found in his house. ANTF also arrested Baglary. Besides the drugs, cash of Rs 15,012 and a Scooty bearing registration number ML-05-N-7249, which was used for transportation of drugs were seized from him.
