Two extortionists apprehended

KHERONI, May 29: After the arrest of the two KPLT linkmen at Kheroni on Wednesday, the police bbed two youths from Jengkha area on Thursday evening for alleged involvement in an extortion case under Kheroni police station.

The apprehended youths have been identified as Arjun Timung (27) of Thepliaram and Rajib Tisso (24) of Kabung area under Kheroni police station. The villagers of Thepliaram alleged that Arjun Timung had been demanding money from businessmen and cultivators of the area since a long time. Timung had been arrested five times earlier.
