Two factions of AKRSU unite in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR, April 25: After the two units of All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU), one led by Hitesh Barman and other by Pradip Rai, united centrally a few days ago, the units of Lakhimpur district also came to the same status on Monday at a meeting held in North Lakhimpur town. Chief adviser of AKRSU’s unified central committee, Dr Parashmoni Singha attended as the observer of meeting which started with much debate and argument. However, a 31-member new unified Lakhimpur district committee of the organization was constituted in the meeting with Dipak Borah as president, and Madhurya Baruah and Dayal Barah as vice-presidents.
