TINSUKIA, March 14: Based on specific information, a joint team of Army, Assam and Aruchal Pradesh Police conducted an operation along the Assam-Aruchal border on Sunday morning and apprehended two hardcore NSCN (K) militants and a link woman from a hideout at Sadiya in Tinsukia district. They have been identified as Digbo Koch and Veling Lego and the link woman as Mai Basumatari. An AK series rifle filled with 19 rounds magazine, a fired case, 14 rounds of .22mm weapon and eight mobile phones were recovered from their possession, stated a communiqué from PRO(Defense).
