Two hit by train at Lanka

HOJAI, May 29: Tapan Chakraborty (36) and his father-in-law died after being hit by a train at  Lanka Railway station on Thursday under Lanka Police Station of Hojai subdivision in gaon district. As per sources, Tapan  Chakraborty was going for commit suicide at the crossing gate of 1No railway gate in Lanka railway station. When his father-in-law came to know about this, he rushed to the railway gate and tried to stop him but the train hit them. Both of them died on the spot. Later, the Railway Police rushed to the spot and sent their bodies for post-mortem.
