TWO HNLC cadres bbed

SHILLONG, March 4: Two youths involved in circulating demand notes of the proscribed HNLC were arrested by Shillong city police on Friday. Informing this the Superintendent of Police (East Khasi Hills) MH Kharkrang stated, “On getting information of a few demand notes being circulated in Shillong and its suburbs by HNLC, the police geared up its intelligence and today we bbed one Vincent Khyriem (27) of Mawlai Mawtawar .On interrogation, he admitted to having circulated the demand notes sent to him from Bangladesh. Later in the evening his accomplice Wankarlang Rynjah (22) of Demseiniong was also picked up.”
