Two HSLC candidates try to commit suicide

Joysagar, June 1: Two HSLC candidates of Sivasagar were hospitalized in a serious condition in Joysagar Civil Hospital on Wednesday after they tried to commit suicide. A boy and a girl under Joysagar PS tried to kill themselves after getting their HSLC result. They both had not passed the examition. Parents of both the students quickly admitted them in the hospital and they are now under medical treatment, family sources said. On the other hand, another HSLC candidate went missing on Wednesday after he came to know that he had been unsuccessful in the exam. The student was identified as Shiva yan Das, son of Niru Das and a resident of Rupahimukh area under Joysagar PS. Parents lodged an FIR in Sivasagar Sadar PS on Thursday.
