Two human traffickers arrested, minor girls rescued

RANGIA, Feb 28: Acting on a tip off, Amar Ghosh, TSI of  Rangia Police, rescued two young girls on Tuesday from the dragnet of two persons, Rocky Kumar and Shyama Karmakar, of  Dhula Padun Tea Estate and Secha Tea Estate 12 no. line near Rangapara under Sonitpur district.  They reportedly were trafficking the two minor girls to Delhi from Rangapara via  Rangia station. According to police, both the minor girls are from Maijuli Tea Estate under Sonitpur district. But the main accused is absconded. Police will produce the minor girls and the traffickers in front of SDJM  Rangia on Wednesday. The traffickers are being interrogated in Rangia police station.
