Two injured

SHILLONG, Dec 29: Two pedestrian, Mercy Jyrwa (27th years/female) and Lawrence Kharkrang (11years/male) sustained injuries after they were hit by a Maruti Alto 800 while walking on the side of the road. The incident happened at Lapalang, Shillong on December 29 at 3:02 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Mercy Jyrwa, Lawrence Kharkrang and the driver of the Maruti Alto 800, Satya (28years/male) to Bethany Hospital, Shillong. A Maruti car proceeding towards Shillong from Nongstoin was involved in a collision with a TATA Indica coming from the opposite direction at Wahlakhaw under Mairang Block, West Khasi Hills District. The driver of the Maruti car, Shaibor Lyngdoh (30years/male) sustained injuries and has been shifted to Tirot Sing Memorial Hospital, Mairang by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mairang.
