Two injured in jumbo attack

Golaghat, March 13: Another incident of human-elephant conflict was seen in Golaghat. A group of wild jumbos entered a village at Kowani Pahar Line area in Golaghat on Sunday night and attacked a house in the area. In the attack, a woman med Rohila Vengra and her one-and-half year old son were seriously injured. Soon the injured mother and son were rushed to Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital in Golaghat. A wave of panic prevailed in the whole region after the incident.
