Two injured in road mishap

BONGAIGAON, Oct 17:   Two children were seriously injured in a road mishap on NH-31(B) at Hapasara area in Bongaigaon district today at around 9 am.  The victims have been identified as Saaju Miya (14) of and Samela Khatun (8) of No-1 Garogaoan area in Bongaigaon district. The accident took place when a speedy Maruti Van coming from lbari to Abhayapuri rammed into them. Following the incident, angry locals staged road blockade for two hours.
