Two injured in road mishap

Shillong, May 12: A Tata truck proceeding to Guwahati from Lumshnong collided with another truck coming from the opposite direction when the driver lost control of the vehicle. This incident happened at Umkhen, Shillong By-Pass Road, 10 kms away from Mawryngkneng, East Khasi Hills on Friday at 9.33 am. In this incident, two occupants Kartik Das (17) and Babul Das (21) sustained injuries. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the two injured patients to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
