Two injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Aug 11: A motorist sustained injuries when he lost control of the motorbike and fell off from it at Qualapatty in Shillong under Mylliem Block, East Khasi Hills on Wednesday. The motorist, identified as Pynskhemlang Syiem (25) was later shifted to a city base hospital. A pedestrian sustained injuries after he was hit by a moving vehicle near the Sai Baba Temple at 14th Mile under Umling Block in Ri Bhoi district. The injured pedestrian, identified as Raju Rai (30) was later shifted to Byrnihat PHC and then to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.
