Two injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Aug 29: In separate incidents of road mishaps two people sustained injuries. A motorist travelling towards Sutnga fell off from his motorbike after it skidded and sustained injuries at Shi Kilo under Khliehriat Block, East Jaintia Hills district today. The victim identified as Dany Lyngdoh (27) was later shifted to Khliehriat CHC. In another incident a driver of a Maruti Alto was injured when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a TATA Mobile pickup truck coming from the opposite direction at Ladthalaboh under Thadlaskein Block in West Jaintia district on Sunday. The victim identified as Leki Slong (34) was admitted to a local hospital in Jowai.
