Two injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Sept 30: An unknown vehicle knocked down one six year old boy, Rashel Sohtun at Umpling, Shillong on Thursday evening.  The victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Nongrim Hills, Shillong. In another incident, a scooty knocked down Besius Mawrie (93 yrs) at Pohkseh, Shillong causing injuries to him.  The victim was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Nongrim Hills, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry. A police constable, P G Momin of Muktapur (WJH) was electrocuted in his official quarter. He was shifted to the local hospital.  Meanwhile, one Dilip Thakuri (35 yrs) was found lying unconscious at Madanrting Shillong and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
