Two injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Dec 13: A pedestrian identified as Shrolin Wanniang (60) sustained injuries when he was hit by a moving vehicle at Porla under Mawshynrut Block in West Khasi Hills district today. The victim was later shifted to Riangdo CHC. In another incident, a Jowai bound truck turned turtle after it hit the road divider while crossing a bridge. The helper of the truck sustained injuries when the incident happened at Umlew village under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District today. The victim identified as Indra Darji (36) was shifted to Bhoirymbong CHC and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
