Two injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, Dec 1: Two women were seriously injured when a Maruti Alto 800 (ML05M - 9027) collided with a truck near Balari petrol pump at Mawlai Nongkwar here today at 1.29 arm. The victims have been identified as B Kharsohnoh (23) and Dolly Dkhar (26). The duo has been rushed to Shillong Civil Hospital.  In a separate accident, one Rajit Singh (40) sustained injuries after he was hit by a Maruti taxi (ML10 – 9907) at ICAR on the Shillong by-pass today at around 6. 52 am. He has been admitted to Rajit Singh to Shillong Civil Hospital.
