Two lakh saplings to be planted in Dhubri district

Dhubri, June 4: A meeting was held in the Dhubri Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner announced that a total of two lakh saplings would be planted in Dhubri district on the eve of World Environment Day on June 5. This will include campuses of schools, colleges, offices and other grounds. The Forest Department will provide the saplings and the Army, BSF, Assam Police will be actively associated with this cause. This is also another way to contribute to the Swach Bharat Abhiyan and the Chief Minister’s Nirmal and Green Assam project.
