Two Militants involved in Rifle Snatching Case Gunned Down by Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara District

Jammu and Kashmir: In a fierce gunfight, the Security Forces managed to kill two dreaded militants during an encounter that happened near a check-post in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The J&K police officially informed that Security forces today killed two militants were involved in the recent rifle snatching case.

As per reports, the security forces retaliated with firing after the encounter began and the militants opened fire on the personnel who were on patrol duty in Lolab valley. Both the militants are yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police SP Vaid tweeted that, "Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with J&K Police/SF (security forces) in Lolab Kupwara a few minutes back,"
