Two-month skill training programme on doll making concludes

Hojai, February 1: With a view to create employment opportunities for women in rural areas, a two-month skill training programme on doll making concluded in West Karbi Anglong on Monday.

Kapili Development Welfare Society, an NGO of Kheroni, had conducted the skill training programme on doll making for the rural women of Kheroni area of West Karbi Anglong district. The closing function was chaired by PC Ram, president of the NGO. Certificates were distributed among the participants by Jitendra Harijan. Altogether 35 women from the neighboring areas of Kheroni took part in the training programme, which was sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra of Diphu.
