Two NDFB militants apprehended

Dibrugarh, July 31: Army and police in a joint operation at Romari Reserve Forest arrested two dreaded NDFB militants on Monday following an intelligence  input that both the militants had taken shelter in the deep forest. The security forces later identified the bbed NDFB militants as Prakash Boro and Ranjit Daimari. The force recovered one 9 mm and .22 pistols and 10 rounds of live ammunition along with some incrimite documents from their possessions. Police registered a case against them. Arrest of NDFB militants in the Romari Forest  under Moran Police Station in Dibrugarh district on the eve of  Independence Day has caused serious concern to the security forces. However, the police have been keeping strict vigil on the movement of militants.
