Two NDFB (S) linkmen held

MANGALDAI, October 24: In a major success for the men in olive green following the recent killing of dreaded ULFA cadre Dipak Bora alias Bikram Asom in an encounter, two NDFB (S) linkmen were apprehended on October 23.  Acting on reliable intelligence about the presence NDFB (S) linkmen in village Bhergaon in Udalguri district, a team of Army personnel, along with police team from Bhergaon Outpost launched an operation and apprehended both the cadres. The apprehended cadres have been identified as Gunjan Baro and Rohim Boro, who are residents of Bhergaon. The apprehended individuals are suspected to have been involved in extortion activities in the area. A grede and a motorcycle were also seized from their possession.
