Two NDFB (S) militants arrested

Tezpur, September 1: In a joint operation by Assam Police and Assam Rifles, two hardcore NDFB (S) militants were apprehended on Wednesday night.

The Assam Rifles and Assam Police had conducted search operation upon receiving information from sources and bbed the militants in Paharpur area near Assam-Aruchal border under Rangapara PS in Sonitpur district. Later, they were identified as Lankrha Basumatary and Sangshu Daimari. Interrogation is on, police sources said.
