Two NDFB (S), one MTFA cadre bbed

KOKRAJHAR, March 14:   In a joint operations, launched by police and Army apprehended two NDFB (S) militants in Kokrajhar district today. Acting on a intelligence input about the presence of two NDFB (S) cadres , a joint team of Kokrajhar police and Army launched operations at Amguri area of the district and bbed the two cadres. The detained two cadres have been identified as Sanjeev Boro alias  B Sansuma of Sabary and Angalu Mushahary of  Belguri in Kokrajhar district.  Defence PRO Lt Col Suneet Newton said that Sanjeev is a hardcore cadre of the outfit who was trained in Udalguri  and Rangapara in March , 2012 along with 228 other cadres of 38th batch of the NDFB (S).  "He  was also in the close protection group of Batha, Deputy C-in -C of the NDFB (S). He was involved in burning and torching of Adivasis villages in Chirang district on  December 23 last year," he said. One 7.62mm pistol, one rifle, two 7.62 mm live rounds and other war like stores were recovered during the operations. In another operation in Jalabila,   a joint team of police and Army apprehended an MTFA cadre who has been identified as Anwar Hussain.  One 9 mm country made pistol, two live rounds, some extortion notes and other war like stores were recovered from him.
