Two NDFB (S) rebels bbed

TAMULPUR/RANGAPARA, July 10: At least two militants belonging to tiol Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit (NDFB-S) were bbed in a joint operation by Army and state police from two different places last night.

Acting on intelligence inputs, a team of police led by Tamulpur SDPO Asif Ahmed arrested NDFB (S) rebel Laxman Boro from Simaluguri village of Darkuchi area under Tamulpur police station in Baksa district.  

In a separate incident,  Army and police in a joint operation apprehended a female cadre of NDFB (S) from Rangapara area in Sonitpur district.  The woman militant has been identified as Pakhila Hajoary (23). She was arrested by the security forces from her residence at Geregajuli under Rangapara police station.
