Two poachers apprehended

MANGALDAI, May 3: In yet another major achievement, a joint team of Special Task Force of Darrang police and staff of Orang tiol Park (ONP) on Wednesday apprehended two poachers mely Muslimuddin of Shyampur No. 2 and Mainuddin of Shyampur No. 1 under Shyampur Police Station of the district adjacent to ONP who led to the recovery of one .303 rifle, a country-made pistol and ten rounds of .303 ammunition. Both the poachers meanwhile have confessed their involvement in poaching.
