Two rhino poachers apprehended

GAON (HAIBORGAON), July 17:  Jakhalabandha police led by officer-in-charge Deben Bora on the wee hours of Sunday apprehended two wanted rhino poachers in two separate operations at harubasti under Jakhalabandha police station and at Siljuri under Bokakhat police station respectively and also recovered a 303 rifle and 15 live bullets from their possession.

According to the sources, the bbed rhino poachers have been identified as Amar Ganju of harubasti and Binud Karmakar of Siljuri of Bokakhat area. Both the poachers were involved in various rhino poaching cases in Kaziranga tiol Park over the years. Police started interrogation in Jakhalabandha police station.
