Two rhino poachers bbed

GAON (HAIBORGAON), Nov 28: gaon Jakhalabandha Police and Sal Police led by ASP (HQ), Ripul Das on Tuesday bbed two wanted rhino poachers from Katimari under Haiborgaon TOP and Kalibheti village of Angjukpani area of gaon- Karbi-Anglong district border under Sal police station.

According to police sources, the bbed poachers have been identified as Jiabur Rahman (36) of Katimari village under Haiborgaon TOP and Deben Ingti of Kalibheti village of Angjukpani area under Sal police station. The sources further stated that both apprehended rhino poachers along with a large inter-state poacher gang were allegedly involved in rhino poaching cases on November 2 and November 4 respectively in Kaziranga tiol Park. The sources, however, stated that police were not able to recover any arms and ammunitions from their possession till filing of this report. gaon Police kept both poachers at Jakhalabandha police station for further interrogation in connection with rhino poaching cases in KNP, the sources added.
