Two saw mills dismantled

Batadrava, March 28: The forest team of gaon Sadar, accompanied by gaon Sadar police, on Wednesday dismantled two saw mills operating illegally in Jamuguri and Panikhaity area on the outskirts of gaon town. Official sources said that based on specific information, the team raided the saw mills owned by Bidhan Kotoki of Jamuguri and Sarudhan Ali of Panikhaity, and dismantled them. The dismantled parts of the machine/ saw mill and large number of timber logs were also seized by the team. The owners, however, maged to flee.
