Two stolen vehicles recovered at Bordubi

DULIAJAN, January 10: Two stolen vehicles were recovered on Sunday morning from near the site of Itakhuli Tea-Estate by a police team of Bordubi police station during patrolling. The recovered vehicles are a white color Bolero pick-up bearing registration no. AS23-5039 and a blue colour Maruti Alto bearing registration No. AS23-9379. According to police sources, two gangs of car lifters had taken the stolen vehicles through Makum to a place near the Itakhuli tea-estate under Bordubi police station. When they saw a police patrolling team approaching the place, they fled taking advantage of the darkness. Bordubi police recovered these two stolen vehicles from the site. According to sources, the two vehicles were stolen from Margherita under Tinsukia district and Tengakhat under Dibrugarh district some days back. Police have started investigation in this regard.
