Rangia, Nov 1: Two school students were killed  on the spot and another person was injured seriously and shifted to GNRC in a critical condition when a speeding dumper  hit the scooty  in which the students were coming to Rangia on Tuesday on the Indo-Bhutan  intertiol road at Karara near Rangia. According to the police, the scooty bearing no AS 25 J 4276 had a head-on collision with the speeding dumper (AS 01 CC 9582) coming from the opposite direction. The dumper dragged the scooty for at least 100 metres,  killing one Nirmal Kalita alias Tultul of village Mahtali near Tulsibari under PS Rangia and Rajib Kalita of village Gandhibari under PS Tamulpur of Bagsa district. Both of them were HS (Science) students of Andaram Barooah Academy in Rangia. The accident occurred when they were going to college. The irate people of the locality set ablaze the dumper and blocked the Indo-Bhutan road.
