Two students missing in Brahmaputra

GUWAHATI, May 8: Two students of Downtown University went missing while bathing in the Brahmaputra at Panikhaiti today.

Im Marel Longkumer and Binod Kumar Seshtha, both students of Downtown University, and another student went to bath in the river at noon today. In fact they were nine, including four girls. When three of the boys were bathing, they drown. While others seeing them from the bank could somehow rescue one of them, Im Marel Longkumer and Binod Kumar Seshtha drowned in front of them. Their bodies are yet to be fished out.
