Two thieves beaten by angry mob

BATADRAVA, Nov 1: Two motorcycle-borne thieves were bbed by the public of Barbhety area of gaon town on Wednesday after the duo attempted to grab a woman’s gold chain. The woman was riding pillion on her husband’s motorcycle when the two thieves rode up on a motorcycle and tried to stch the victim’s gold chain near Barbhety area.  On witnessing the incident, the duo got beaten up by an angry mob. The thieves, with bruises all over, were later handed over to the Haiborgaon Police. The duo have been identified as Ebadul Islam and Ikramul Hussain from Sinlongoni area in gaon. Police seized the motorcycle (bearing registration no. AS 02 R 2446) used by the thieves.
