Two timber smugglers bbed

JOYSAGAR, Feb 7: Sivasagar Police and forest officials bbed two timber smugglers on Monday night in an operation conducted jointly at Gelekey forest area of Sivasagar district. Sources said that a truck bearing registration no-AS04-AC-4700 was coming from Gelekey Forest which was carrying smuggled timber worth Rs. 50,000. In this connection, Abul Ali and Ramjan Ali were arrested by the police and they are being interrogated at Gelekey PS for further information.
