Two toppers bring laurels to Duliajan schools

DULIAJAN, June 1:  Mrinmoy Borah from St. Xavier's HS School and Pallab Jyoti Baishya of Oil India HS School have brought laurels to oil-town Duliajan by clinching 8th and 14th spots respectively in the top 20 merit list of the HSLC exam, results of which were declared on Tuesday.  Pallab Jyoti secured 100 in Mathematics, 97 each in Advanced Mathematics and English, 96 in Assamese, 94 in Social Science and 88 in General Science while  8th rank holder Mrinmoy Borah got 96 in General Mathematics, 95 in General Science, 98 each in English and Social Science, 93 in Assamese and 99 in Advanced Mathematics. AASU's Dibrugarh district education secretary Jadumoni Dutta, Duiliajan AASU's president Rubul Gogoi and general secretary Utpal Handique have congratulated both the students for their outstanding results in the exam.
