Two vehicles seized

Golaghat (Dhekial), Sept 8: The Golaghat forest officials seized two vehicles allegedly carrying soil from the bank of Kaliani river at Soniaghat on Thursday.

According to report, following information about illegally excavating soil from the river bank, a team of Golaghat range officials  rushed  to Soniaghat and seized  a JCB bearing registration No. NL 07A7125 and dumper without registration number. During the inspection by the forest officials, legal documents of the vehicles were not found. Notably,  a section of forest mafia allegedly have been running a black market by destructing the forest resources in Golaghat district.
