U-18 SPL Lajong beat Wahingdoh FC

SHILLONG, Jun 2: Shillong Lajong Junior Reds defeated Wahingdoh FC by 3-1 in their opening game of the U-18 Shillong Premier League today at Polo Ground in Shillong.

Samuel Kynshi headed the ball into the back of the net in the 28th minute after an assist from Phrangki Buam to give Lajong a 1-0 lead. Habamut then doubled the lead for the Junior Reds in the 40th minute and were leading 2-0 at half time after domiting the first half of the game.

Wahingdoh FC maged to pull one back when the referee awarded them a pelty after a foul was committed inside the box. Onyxon Buhroy scored from the spot in the 57th minute. Shillong Lajong Junior Reds were having a good game today and they scored another goal in the 74th minute. Donbok scored from inside the box to find the bottom right corner of the net.

Shillong Lajong Juniors won today's game by 3-1 and picked up their first three points. They will play their next match against Malki on 5th June in Polo Ground at 4PM.
