UAPYA to observe first foundation day

Dibrugarh, Aug 27:  The  first foundation day  event  of  United  Assamese  Youth Power  (UAYPA ) will be observed  under the aegis of  Sibsagar District  Committee of UAPYA and in cooperation with the general public, at Sukapha Auditorium, Sibsagar, on August 30.

 On the commemoration day , the members  of UAYPA  will  resolute  to pledge towards preserving and protecting the  distinctive indigenous  and demographic constituents of Assam, in a press communiqué stated the president in-charge of UAYPA , Rubul Dutta and central general secretary, Krishkanta Phukan.

 UAYPA anticipates the presence and cooperation of all the persons and leaders of the other indigenous organizations, in the open meeting to be held on August 30. Moreover,   the demand for grant of Scheduled Caste status to the six ethnic communities of the State for declaring Assam as an indigenous State was also stated in the press communiqué.  To regain the full sovereign  rights of the Assamese people, UAYPA may be forced to take any step, in a press release, cautioned  the central  general secretary of  UAYPA , Krishkanta Phukan .   

The foundation day celebrations will kick off with a cleanliness drive on August 30.  Later, the organization flag will be hoisted by president in-charge of central committee of UAYPA, Rubul Dutta , while smriti tarpan will be offered by the chief adviser of UAYPA , Mrityunjay Mahanta.  In a separate ceremony, former teacher and well-known social worker, Muhi Gogoi ; adviser of Sibsagar District Committee of UAYPA , Niranjan Chutia and  general secretary of  Dibrugarh District Committee of UAYPA,  Kiron Bora , will plant tree saplings as a mark of the foundation day celebrations.  A literary competition on poem, recitation and painting will also be held which will be iugurated by prominent cultural activist, Prartha Dutta Phukan.

The open meeting of the foundation day will be iugurated by secretary of Solguri Cooperative Society, Jayanta Bora. The open meeting will be presided over by the vice-president of central committee of UAYPA, Rajani Phukan , while the objectives of the meeting will be laid down by  the central general secretary  of UAYPA, Krish Kanta Phukan.

 Eminent educationist, litterateur and social worker, Tarun Chandra th ;  Professor of Shaheed Piyoli Phukan High School, mti,  Ramen Baruah and  president of Dibrugarh District Committee of  UAYPA, Mridul Dutta, will address the open meeting as appointed speakers.

As eminent guests,  the open meeting will be graced by  the Professor of Shaheed  Maniram Dewan High School, Charing, Dr. Mamoni Bora Kharghoria ;  social  worker  Dilip Chandra th ; advocate Dipankar Gogoi and retired teacher and social worker, Anit Chandra Bora, as stated in the press communiqué.
