Udalguri Arya Samaj delegation meets Governor

UDALGURI, Feb 8: The Udalguri Arya Samaj delegation team met Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi at Raj Bhavan and discussed about the activities of Arya Samaj at Udalguri. Prof Mukhi took interest to boost up the social reformation activities in the region. He also expressed his eagerness to attend programmes of Arya Samaj, Udalguri. The delegation team comprised Haribhakta Sarma, president, Kamal Upadhyaya, general secretary, Santiram Sarma, Sahadev Gautam and Baidyath Upadhyaya, senior members of Udalguri Arya Samaj. Raj Bhavan sources informed Udalguri Arya Samaj officials that Prof. Jagdish Mukhi would take part in the Hawan Satsang programme at Udalguri on March 27. He will also address the public meeting of Arya Samaj at Udalguri.
