Udalguri BSU takes out bike rally for peace

KALAIGAON, January 12: Udalguri District Committee of Bodoland Students’ Union (BSU) took out a bike rally on Tuesday for peace, unity and commul harmony in BTAD area. This rally started from Kabirali market campus under Kalaigaon revenue circle and it was iugurated by Rihan Daimary, former PHE minister of Assam. Addressing the bike rally, former minister Rihan Daimary said that the initiative of BSU to create a peaceful environment in BTC region was laudable. Banjit Manjil Basumatary, general secretary of BSU, took part in this rally. He appealed to the people of BTAD to cooperate with BSU for creating a peaceful environment. “No any government will be able to develop a region without peace,” he added. Meanwhile, several noted persons like BTC Speaker Tridip Daimary, MCLA Ripan Daimary and BPF youth leader Jushi Khaklary took part in this programme.
